Choctaw Road Baptist Church exists to reach and develop fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Becoming a Christian is more than choosing a religion or being born into a religious family. Becoming a Christian (sometimes called salvation, being born again, being saved) involves a change made by God in your whole being. This relationship with God is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. This acceptance is by faith, not any action or work on your part. At the moment of belief, you become a new creature in Christ Jesus. It is a change of your heart made by the Holy Spirit. This change begins when you are convinced of your guilty sinfulness before God and your need for His forgiveness. You must respond to this conviction with repentance. Repentance is your genuine turning from your sin toward God. Faith is your acceptance of Jesus Christ and a commitment of your entire personality to Him as Lord and Savior. Becoming a Christian is a lifetime journey. We at Choctaw Road Baptist Church would consider it a joy to talk with you personally about this all important decision -- Becoming a Christian. Our Sunday School provides meaningful and relevant Bible learning experiences for persons of any age and any spiritual background.

Choctaw Road Baptist Church
Steve's Personal Statement: I came to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and followed Christ in baptism at the age of seven. I accepted God's call to serve Him as a minister shortly after graduating from Oklahoma Baptist University. Since that time, I have been involved in many areas of ministry. . The Lord continually teaches and prepares my wonderful wife and me for greater areas of service. I believe God calls each of His ministers to a life of excellence and hard work. I desire to be such a minister worthy of God's call on my life. To lead others to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and to lead God's people to deeper spiritual commitment is the highest calling to which I could aspire.
Special Musical Events
Christmas, Easter and other Special Musicals and Dramas performed by our PraiseSingers and PraiseKids.
Praise Kids! is our Children's Choir, for ages 4 years through 6th grade. We have separated into 3 choirs: the PreSchool choir for 4 yrs old through Kindergarten, the 1st/2nd/3rd grade choir, and the 4th/5th/6th grade choir. Beginning Feb 8th, we will meet Sundays from 5:00 - 5:50pm.
NEW!!Youth Ensemble NEW!!
Our newest ministry, the Youth Ensemble, is for students in 7th-12th grades. They meet Wednesdays at 5pm. Any and all Youth are encouraged to attend!
PraiseSingers! is our Adult Choir, we meet Wednesdays at 8pm in the choir room and perform at the beginning of the 2nd morning service. Anyone from 7th grade to 70 is welcome, just come on to practice and sing God's praises with us!
Senior Adult Choir: Our Senior Adult Choir is for the "experienced" choir members! They meet on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm.
PraiseBand: Our music ministry is blessed with many talented musicians who give of their time and talents to help us worship and praise God! Besides piano and keyboard, we have guitar, bass guitar, drums, flute, trumpet, percussion and even a saxophone!
PraiseTeam: The PraiseTeam helps Steve lead the congregation in worshiping God through music. Tryouts are annually, and there are two teams, one serves both Sunday morning services and the other serves Sunday evening services.
